The Auto Innovation Centre’s ADR98/00- Advanced Emergency Braking is an important test for vehicle modifiers and is applicable to new model vehicles from 1st March 2023.
As an approved Rover Test Facility for ADR98/00 the AIC test process provides important support to the aftermarket industry.
In the below video, AIC Managing Director Luke Truskinger provides more insight into this testing process that involves an ISO compliant foam vehicle compliant, towing fixture and specialised instruments, and requires having the foam vehicle target both stationary and moving.
The AIC offers this test to customers to support federal submissions for vehicle type approvals as well as product development and research purposes.
